Scott Simpson

The original American voice of Keiichi Morisato in Oh! My Goddess, Scott worked at Coastal Recording on numerous titles including Blue Submarine No.6,Earthian, and the anime parody Shinesman. For many years he was the producer of A Season’s Griot, distributed by Public Radio International, and was the founding Production Director for Virtuoso Voices which is heard across the states on National Public Radio stations. A member of the Screen Actors Guild, Scott has been honored to work on film with actors such as James Earl Jones andEllen Burstyn and with directors including Michael AptedMatt WilliamsErnest Dickerson and the late John Frankenheimer. A veteran of more than 200 stage plays, he was last seen in the role of Vanek in Vaclav Havel’s play Audience as part of the Havel Festival in New York. Scott was particularly honored that the play’s run included a performance attended by the playwright who is also the former President of Czechoslovakia. In recent years, Scott has been working as a designer and developer of immersive, interactive 3D content for educational and non-profit institutions. He has built custom virtual worlds for Valdosta State College,Henry Ford Community College and Bryant & Stratton College as well as theAmerican Cancer Society (ACS). Scott is a founder and Executive Committee member of the Fantasy Faire of Second Life. Now in its third year, the Faire is a benefit for the Relay for Life and has raised more than thirty thousand dollars to support the ACS and the vital services it provides to cancer survivors and care-givers around the world.
